Working In A Hospital-Look At Gaining Critical Care Experience
When of the advantages of being a RN is all of the specialty areas where you can gain experience. By working in a critical care specialty unit, you can move on to work in other units where the same skill set is needed such as radiology, ambulatory surgery, etc. You can also consider going back to school to become a CRNA.

Legal Nurse Consultant
I am seriousy considering becoming a legal nurse consultant. Is there work available in this area? I don't want to spend the time and effort to pursue this if the work is not there.

Working While Attending School For Crna
I would like to know if it is realistic to work part time in a float pool when going to school to become a CRNA. I have heard it is too demanding and not possible-is this true?

Getting Experience In Critical Care
It may be best to look at jobs in intermediate or monitored units to get started and getting your ACLS on your own shows initiative and your willingness to learn.

Bsn Or Associate's Degree In Nursing?
It is definitely best to get a BSN at some point in your career. Many jobs require a minimum BSN degree especially if you are interested in getting into a managementposition. In addition to the extra knowledge you learn, it helps to advance the preception of nursing being a profession and not just a technical job.
